How to Draw A UFO
Step 1
To begin this guide to drawing a UFO, let's start with the glass dome above it. This step should be easy enough as it all takes a simple shape and a steady hand.
The shape will be a slightly flattened oval and, as mentioned, will serve as the dome for the UFO.
Once you've replicated the shape as it appears in our reference image, you're good to go!
Step 2
UFOs are often referred to as flying saucers, as a popular interpretation of this is that they resemble the namesake.
We will use this flying saucer design for your UFO drawing, and this is the look we will draw now.
To do this, add another flat oval underneath and enclose the dome.
However, this one will be even flatter than the previous one. You can also add a line along the base of the saucer, as shown in our reference image.
Step 3
For this part of our guide to drawing a UFO, we will add a small circular section below the UFO.
To do this, we draw a thin semi-oval under the UFO. This could serve all sorts of functions, from being used as a single beam scanner to hijacking!
Step 4

We will draw some small round shapes on the ship for this part. These would likely be flashing bright lights if this UFO were floating in the air!

We mainly used blue, gray and yellow for our sample image, but this is an image to let your imagination run wild.
It's an alien spaceship, so color it as otherworldly as possible!
You could achieve this by using bright and contrasting colors or drawing patterns hinting at the extraterrestrial origin.
You can also achieve your desired look using your favorite media and art tools. Tools like acrylic paints, crayons, and markers would be great for a brighter, more vibrant look if that's what you want.
On the other hand, you could use some watercolor paints and colored pencils to give the picture a more muted look.
